It’s interesting that I hear
”Monday” when someone

Says “hotdog” in my
Left ear, the neurosurgeon
Says. I never knew

That life of the mind
Could be a processing error.
Steroids strong enough

To take sleep away
For a week - the kitchen will
Never be so clean.

In time, the robot
Singing death metal will be
A shell whispering

The sea, or even
Better - nothing at all. Would
That silence could be

Silence. All I want
Is nothing, but in meantime
I’ll hear new music.
